There is a range of public transport options across the city of Nottingham, including bus travel and a modern, state-of-the-art tramway. Throughout Nottingham there are seven park-and-ride locations with more than 3,000 spaces, which allow you to park your car and travel into the city by either bus or tram.
Nottingham has a fast, modern and efficient tramway network that is available in part of the city, with the main line running between the Wilkinson Street Park and Ride and the city's Hucknall area, stopping at the Lace Market and also the Old Market Square. The route stretches for around 10 km / 6 miles, parallel to the Robin Hood train line and 4 km / 2.5 miles between the railway station and Hyson Green.
